(1)Having problem with your registration?
Nowadays spamming not only occurs via email but also in internet forums, we have being receiving at least 5 registrations for new member daily with suspicious Usernames and Email accounts for the purpose of spamming this forum with unsolicited advertisements.

To counter this, we have resorted to validate new member accounts manually instead automatic email validation and deleting those with suspicious Usernames and Email accounts.

The cons of this process is that genuine new member might have to wait a few days before they are able to post, secondly we might regrettably delete a genuine new member account.

So if any new member who have encountered the above problems, you could post a new topic in the Garbage and Testing subforum with link below with the topic title as "New member : Your Username"

You could also introduce yourself in the content of that posting if you like but you should not reveal your email address.

This will help us to expedite your registration.

(2)So when is the forum registration open for new member?
This is 2nd measure we have taken due to the high volume of spammers’ registrations using automatic “Spam Bot” to register, so to reduce the workload of manual validation and hoping that spammers will cease to target the forum, we have resorted to open registration only during the weekend.

So the registration periods will be open from: Every Friday evenings to Sunday evenings, holidays will remain close unless fall on a weekend.

This new measure will start from 27th July 2008.

(3)Having problem logging in?
There is a bug which I have heard, if you tried to log in from top left corner “Log in box” and if you ticked “No” to the “Remember me?” option , you will not be able to login even it said that you have a success login, so :

(3.1) For Personal PC and you want a permanent automatic login
Use the top left corner “Login box” as shown below:


In the next page, tick “Yes” to the “Remember me?” option as shown below:


(3.2) For shared computer or a temporary login
Use the bottom right corner “Quick log in box” instead, after typing in your user name and password , click go and you are logged in.

After the successful registration , you should read & follow the Military Nuts posting guidelines before posting.

Your account may be deleted if there is no posting or any participation of any kind for more than 6 months after activation.

(5)Why is the forum search function doesn't work?
This is because the forum is free, therefore we are not getting the full capability of Invision Power Board(IPB), the IPB Search Function button above does not work.

But with info from "Iowa_BB61" and implemented by "Theory", we now have a "Google Search Function" boxes where you could search the forum as well as WWW.
