ahhh here it is... in slide 24 he mentioned as an example: "System integration of Navy and Air Force in the use of ASTER missiles of our frigates for National Air Defence".

which means to me that we can theoretically enlarge our air defense shield to include the opfor's air bases themselves. in such a scenario does it mean we can achieve "air dominance" by the fact that we can shoot down the opfor assets not long after they take off?

bracket them and give them hell. I know of SAF people whose training is essentially to mince aircraft that has just taken off (IIRC that's why the Igla was preferred over the stinger). keeping the aircraft grounded is probably the best way to win the air war :ph43r:

I'm quite intrigued by the natale systems, can't seem to find open source info on them. fyi, boun natale is italian for merry christmas :P
