Apart from state-of-the-art Home Team(HT) equipments, vehicles and systems for visitors to view, there will also be exciting displays and demonstrations by the various HT agencies eg. SPF, Prisons and SCDF aimed at allowing the members of public to know more about the HT, as well as to be better prepared and equipped for crisis and emergencies.

To this end, a series of workshops conducted by the HT will also help in further educating and enhancing the public’s emergency readiness.

As usual it always nice to meet the Milnuts....this time for the Home Team Convention outing.

Many interesting exhibits at the Home Team convention.

The Hazmat detachment/vehicle is interesting.
I am also surprised that the CD have also have to get equipped with USV liao !

- on the "Southern Waters Layered Defence."
- contraband in cars and motorbikes sneaking in ...and got caught and exposed.
- crime scene management
- fire scene investigation...A Major gave us a informative briefing.
- Commercial Affairs Department..a very important arm of the Security here.
- many more...

The Tenix APC didnt not feature the mobile ladder as seen in the picture (ZZZZ)
I feel that the Tremolator was abit hidden,but well ...

Too much models,too little static display. Those personnel on the career booths seems to have a phobia of people.

Still, I think i will be going down tml for a short while to ask some questions... haizz.

Callsign, what details were there on the USVs? And what's that layered defense thing? Share lei, for those of us who couldn't make it today or tomorrow. :) Also, any more details on the barge platform thing?

Anyway, CD guys mentioned the USV have been acquired, not operational yet...it will assist in locating those objects now done by divers (I sensed that it will be used to locate dead bodies under water as well :( :( )
