I particularly like the new method of dismounting from a tonner as personally i suffered knee injury from jumping off a tonner.

Hey, great video, Thanks for posting ! B) B)

Good to have our medical team at Afghanistan to practice and sharpen on those field surgical operations.

Yeap, the new method of dismounting from a tonner should be implement in all SAF trunk ferrying troops.

Top grade video find. If right people get to watch the video and consider implementing the practical elements in our NS it will be wonderous.

New dismounting method =good if the pole is not cheapo material. Increase usage of combat gloves too.

Are the casualties with the leg/arms blown off, really lacking those parts?

I was wondering the same. I'm guessing they use amputees to simulate casualties?

Thanks for sharing tankee.

Most likely they are the vets who really losts their limbs during the ops..
But asking them to do it again, is just asking them to re-live that trauma. :(

That was my thought as well, but if I recall correctly, part of therapy also includes the acceptance of the loss. For those who have lost their limbs, they are now given the opportunity to help others avoid such a loss.

It won't be easy, but at least they are contributing in a manner that most of them will probably find very satisfying.

If these amputee actors are really combat veterans then they deserve some serious respect for still contributing to the nation even when they are disabled.
