As for the Font type for the word "Militarynuts", please consider the "font type "IMPACT" as used in MS Word.

Simple lar. Those in Combat and COmbat Support one remain in WOSPEC and Officer scheme. Those in CSS/navy/airforce non combat vocations then change to MDES lor.

I agree, the font should be a bold/black san serif typeface. If you wish I can pass you the Adobe Myriad Pro kit which has a wide selection of semibold, bold and black face.

Maybe keep 'Military Nuts' words in caps, so that got impact (no pun intended) also I know this is kinda tough but what if we have the animated gif kind of banner so that we can represent as many platforms as we can? admittedly that's more banners, but I don't mind lending a hand :)

If we are planning to include signals vehicles (STORM Bronco?) we can use Courier New font...looks more like an old skool intelligence report :P

I think we also need to change Miitary Nuts to something more respectable and better sounding.

I disagree cause this branding has lasted for 6 years and counting, and which organisations have come to identify us with. The name itself creates a fun impression of the often serious military world. Anyway, it is what we truly are, military nutters.

Callsign and tankee, have looked through, and tried doing a banner of the L2 EVO using the pics from some of MNs taken during the mobile columns, but due to the constraints of the banner requirements, I've not been able to do one that one can easily discern to be the EVO.

As for wombat's request for a Terrex, banner is a front view of 5 Terrexes, originally shot by CJ. As in the EVO, not easy to tell when the its constrained by a 10:1 pixel requirement ;)

I'm personally in favour of sticking to the brand name as well, especially now that we've carved out some recognition of the name, thanks mainly to CJ's efforts.

Given that no one has yet told me "My Grandma can do better", I'll load the banners tonight.

Oklah, you should've seen some of the people reaction when I'm telling them I'm from Milnuts and the Milkacang came about from FIVE-TWO onboard a RMN ship during IMDEX 2008.

I think this Military Nuts name have been used since it have originally broken off from the 'Government' forum in sgforums around 2001 to 2003 perhaps.

So it is definitely more than 6 years already!

and don't forget, a kacang is worth $600,000 :D
