You can date the pics by reference to the marina bay sands construction. Looks like sometime late last year.
There's also a pic of a camo F-5 (could be an F-16 but looks like an F-5 to me) on the tarmac of Changi AFB east.
One can also see 2 challenger subs at changi naval base. 47m doesn't look like have AIP.
One can also see 2x 60m subs at Lumut at the inner south west pier....

I could be wrong, but that looks like a 73 on the bow. If that's right, that makes it the USS George Washington.

Yup. 73. Closer view.

That would place the sat pics around August last year.

The 60m length will clear doubts about the subs having AIP.

Both CNB and WSAP photos were dated Aug 6 2009 (according to Google Earth). Black Aces, those are USN Greyhounds. C-2 not C-1 B)
They should be linked to the George Washington being at CNB

I hope those google earth photos are too low resolution for enemy intel to find out about anything sensitive..

the real enemies have access to much better photos, google photos are more relevant for terrorists.

Depends on who is the "enemy" and what is "sensitive." For someone who knows what he's looking for, google earth images can give away a lot.
This guy for example, is pretty darn incredible.

Its just closing the gap between civilian and military intel. Dun forget rsaf didn't have access to sat pics because somebody tot cannot control sat porn... SAF doesn't exactly have a sat programme but can buy limited access.
http://arstechnica.com/business/news/2008/...-resolution.ars50cm resolution are very high quality pics but current spy sats can do 5 to 15 cm.
I still remember the days when a/c recon photo shots are treated with top secret reverence. Comparing that resolution to today's, the sat pics' almost as good.
The chinese searchers are pretty good. They have ID-ed the surface wave radar sites, J-10 fighter bases and even new subs.
Google maps doesn't give high oblique views or IR imagery though. At least not yet.... There's advantage to side views. There are street views though.

Park this question here as saw this photo from LaoTiKo threnad on the UAV side and not right to post over there
Strange on the Changi East AB ramp I can see 2 F-18F Hornet next to 2 F-16 on the ramp plus 2 more (no idea what a/c is it, seem to be the T50- Golden eagle and the MB346??) need the more tok-kong lao jiao to figure simi A/C . I alway tot foreign A/C lands at PLAB only but this shot seem to point otherwise unless it was taken during AA2010 but dont rem seeing the hornet during then.
Any1 can shed light on these 2 Hornet doing there? the date is copyright on 2010 but no idea on date itself
