Come September, the air forces of India and Singapore will join hands to test each other’s preparedness, as the south-east Asian island nation joins the growing band of countries wishing to go in for joint exercise with the Indian Air Force.

The IAF, which has already earned the respect and admiration of the US Air Force, arguably the best in the world, after the joint-exercise between the two countries at Gwalior earlier this year, will pit a combination of MiG-21s, MiG-23s, Jaguars and Mirage-2000 fighter aircraft against the F-16 Fighting Falcons of the Republic of Singapore Air Force during the exercise scheduled to be held ...................

Good test for RSAF pilots to see how well they fare against the Indian pilots since they have claimed to have a success rate of 90% over the USAF.

I really wonder how accurate these figures are given they hardly tell the whole story. Furthermore, I don't think USAF is "that lousy" given that they have dedicated schools that deal with ACM tactics. Won't be surprised USAF only sent juniors pilots for overseas ACM exercises whereas the experience ones are all tied up with activty duties either in Iraq or Afganistan.

According to what I read from "informed" sources in other forum, both sides did not fight to their true capability , so that they could keep them secret.
Afterall, they are doing it over massive Indian electronics survelliances.

For example, the USAF did not have their E-3 to the fight as requested by the Indian, their simulated AAM is the older Aim-9M and Sparrow.

The Indian likewise did not show all their cards, they are using the older SU-30K instead of MKI.

So in a way, even a detail report abt the exe is released, no one will really know unless it was done with all gloves off.
