How to book for IPPT/RT?
Q: How to book IPPT?
A: After your IPPT window has opened, and when you are ready, you can book for an IPPT session through any of the following steps;
(please also use the following steps and booking guidelines for your IPPT at SAFRA Gyms.)

a) Log on to www.miw.com.sg
Under MINDEF SERVICES, select Nsmen
Click on Non-ICT IPPT
Select Book Non-ICT IPPT

b ) Call 1800 eMINDEF (1800 3646 333)

c) SMS 97 MINDEF (97646333)

As per the current system, you need to provide your NRIC number and you can select a session from the list of available slots in the various modes of booking. You will be issued a transaction/acknowledgement code and you can also print out the booking slip if you are using the Internet. The transaction/acknowledgement code should be retained for purpose of verifying your booking.

You can book a session up to 3 months in advance. However booking for a session closes by 1200 hrs the day before the intended date of the test.

Bookings/Ammendments/Cancellations
All bookings, amendments and cancellations of test dates must be done by noon (12 p.m.) of the day before the test date of the NSmen's choice.

Reminder Services
You can opt for reminder service through SMS,fax or email so that you can be reminded of your test date as it approaches. If you do not opt-in for the reminder service, you will not be reminded but you may enquire through miw.com.sg or with your NS admin office with reference to the transaction/acknowledgement code issued.

NSmen have to report 15 minutes before the commencement of the non-ICT IPPT session as stipulated in the Booking System confirmation note. This is to facilitate in-processing and completion of the exercise early so that all NSmen will be able to finish their IPPT sessions in reasonable time.

2) SMS booking for IPPT/RT:
Book Your IPPT via SMS
You can now book your non ICT IPPT anytime, anywhere with your mobile phone! It's easy and convenient. Just follow these simple steps:

Step 1.
Just key in ' IPPT' followed by your NRIC no. eg IPPT S1234567D and send to 9 7-MINDEF or 97646333.

Step 2.
You will recieve a response stating your eligiblity and booking period. To book, key in the following information:

IPPT dd/mm/yy
' M' for Maju
' K' for Khatib
' B' for Bedok
eg ' IPPT 31/12/03 M'

Step 3.
To confirm your IPPT date and venue just key in ' IPPT C'. If you like for us to send a reminder just key in ' IPPT CR'. An SMS reminder will be sent to you 7 days prior your test date.

Step 4.
A confirmation message contaning date, time, venue and your Transction ID will be sent to you as a reply.

Hi Mods and Admin, you guys might want to make this sticky.
I know many NS men actually did not even know that they should book for IPPT w/o notice or even know the various methods of booking.

I will try to post on other NS related matters from Mindef and MIW for quick reference for our NS men members.

It will also help alot if you could post some information on BMT and NS life for people like me who are newly enlisted into NS.Although i have heard alot from friends its always good to know more opinions and experiences from others

Will anything be send to me for missing my own booking of IPPT? I have passed my IPPT before the booking, but was training/aiming for silver standard. Had my palvis area injured and still in pain, so have to miss the IPPT.
